The Notorious B.I.G., aka Biggie Smalls, was photographed at the Good Luck Bar in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. During the shoot, which was held to wish the new album well, Biggie took a liking to the BAPE® camo jacket Sean was wearing and was shown with it draped over his shoulders. The photo would later become an iconic piece of BAPE® history. The shoot took place just two days before he passed away, and as a result, it was his last portrait. It captures the intersection of art and hip-hop, an iconic moment of the era, as it stands today.
