A legend of contemporary Japanese streetwear, Yuta Hosokawa, is continuing to prove why he deserves your respect and attention with his most recent creative project, Saint Michael (stylized as Saint Mxxxxxx). The brand is a collaborative effort between Hosokawa and the extremely underrated Canadian born designer, Cali Thornhill DeWitt, who has previously designed the Saint Pablo merch for Ye (formerly Kanye West), and contributed extensively to art direction across the music industry. This combined design experience allows for Saint to approach contemporary streetwear with a forward thinking attitude, while meticulously selecting tasteful reference points from American and Japanese vintage fashion and pop culture.

The recent collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon, that this t-shirt is from, is no different. Wotherspoon is the world's greatest Vegan American artist, and his knowledge of American vintage apparel is profound. He honed his encyclopedic knowledge by toiling in the smelly stockrooms of Round Two shops that he opened across the United States with his best mates. He truly has seen it all. His collaboration with Saint Mxxxxxx gave him the opportunity to recreate some of his favorite aspects of vintage apparel utilizing some of the best materials and artificial aging techniques in the industry.
