Slept on in the west for a significant portion of his career, Mihara Yasuhiro is a Japanese designer that is known for his eponymous brand. His innovative designs, blending elements of avant-garde fashion with traditional craftsmanship has become globally successful in recent years thanks in part to refreshing interpretations of the canvas sneaker and a strong apparel archive. The brand was founded in 1997 by Yasuhiro, who started his career in fashion as a shoe designer before expanding into clothing and accessories.
