A BATHING APE® Launches Marvel "Fantastic Four" Collection
This week, BAPE released a stunning capsule collection featuring designs from Marvel Comics' "Fantastic Four". Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, "Fantastic Four" is considered the origin of Marvel's "team hero" franchise. The story of four astronauts who gain special powers after being exposed to unknown cosmic rays and use their powers to fight evil, overcome their bonds as friends, and overcome their conflicts has continued to be loved by fans around the world for generations. A new film was released earlier this year!
This collection includes extremely popular and highly collectible BAPE STA sneakers, and tees.
The sneakers feature members of the Fantastic Four, Mister Fantastic & Invisible Woman (blue), Human Torch (red), and The Thing (yellow), as well as their arch-enemies, the villains Galactus & Silver Surfer (pink) and Doctor Doom (green). Each sneaker is available in a color scheme that reflects the image of its character, and the shoelace charm is engraved with the iconic "4," logo. The classic Marvel toy plastic packaging returns in this collection!
