Boro is an Edo period mending technique that is done by patching old cloth material to worn out garments with sashiko stitching. The mended garments are thicker, restore durability and provide substantial protection from the harsh elements of the Japanese seasons.

The shorts show extensive signs of wear, with multiple layers of fabric of different thicknesses layered on top of each other to replicate the historic technique.

Longer length and three-dimensional baggy silhouette with one tuck at the front. Tucked from the center of the back for ease of movement. Embroidery around the pockets.
