A Century Denim reinterpretation of Japanese shortpants that were often worn for agricultural work. Designed for the labor intensive job of hand picking rice, these shortpants have a deep rise and wide legs. The inseam is short so they can be worn in deep water without getting wet.

 

13.5oz Rigid Denim. No. 7 denim gets its color from a plant based ash dye and is reinforced with indigo dyed sashiko thread. Over time, the fade of the indigo dyed sashiko thread contrasts with the sumi dyed denim, creating a personalized aging effect. Living up to its name, Century Denim is extremely durable, built to last a lifetime.
