
Kapital Sashiko Boa Fleece Reversible Jacket
Founded in 1985 by Toshikiyo Hirata and designed primarily by his son, Kiro. Kapital draws inspiration from traditional Japanese workwear and Americana culture. Kapital produces high-quality clothing with a focus on denim, using several traditional Japanese techniques.
This particular jacket mimics traditional sashiko thread work, printing it on to the exterior boa fleece. A large zip pocket attached to the back incorporates utilitarian elements. The reversible inner lining is made of nylon, utilizing a line of snap buttons. A breast pocket zipper is adorned with a Tibetan Tiger design.
