Evisu x Sanrio Hello Kitty Selvedge Denim
From legendary Japanese denim brand founded in Osaka in 1991 by Hidehiko Yamane, is a vintage pair of limited edition Evisu x Hello Kitty denim jeans. Sanrio’s iconic Hello Kitty, a fictional character created in 1974, can be seen adorned on the front of the right thigh of the jeans, with copies of her signature bow replacing the typical Evisu Seagull Motif on the back pockets.
Evisu takes its name from the Japanese god of prosperity, Ebisu. Most known for its premium quality denim, hand-painted designs, and signature seagull logo. The brand has gained a cult following around the world, and has endured lasting success thanks in part to cosigns from HipHop artists like Travis Scott, Future & Jay-Z.
